Keith Mason. Managing Director

Keith Mason - Managing Director

Keith has worked in the Health & Social Care Sector both in the United Kingdom and internationally within Australia since 1991.

Keith has worked for Safe Places for Children since 2008, originally appointed as a casual trainer, Keith has worked in a variety of positions in both Quality & Systems and Operations, Keith also assisted with the setup of Safe Places for Children UK and currently holds the position of UK Managing Director.

Being part of an organisation that truly believes “it’s all about the young people” and helping to support young people on their journey of growth, provides me with the passion to continuously improve service delivery, embrace and support our staff members.

Cieran McAuley - General Manager QS

Cieran has worked within the voluntary & community sector as well the Health and Social Care Industry since 2008. Cieran has worked with Safe Places since 2016, starting as a Residential Youth Worker in Townsville before progressing to a Senior Case Manager.

Cieran moved back home to Northern Ireland in 2017 and has been involved in the creation and development of the organisations registered services and other services. Cieran is the organisational General Manager of QS and works across both England and Northern Ireland.

Sam Young

Sam Young - IT Officer

Sam has been working for Safe Places since 2020 and brings a vast amount of experience to the IT Sector with experience in Programming, Management and Service Desk Support.

Sam is the IT Officer for Safe Places supporting England and Ireland. Sam’s day to day role is developing the IT Systems and fixing issues reported by staff.

Sam is passionate in providing the best possible IT Support to all staff to ensure the smooth running of the technical side of the business so that staff can focus on their main priority of providing top quality care for young people
