At Safe Places, we are continuing to identify solutions and explore opportunities for developing working long-term relationships with potential Social Investors, Landlords, Property Owners and or Philanthropist that can support the organisations mission, which is at “Safe Places, it’s all about the Young People”. Safe Places are looking at viable properties in the following locations North West England and Northern Ireland. But to support strategic growth Safe Places needs to find the right Investor or Philanthropist that supports the organisations values, mission, and vision.

As a non-profit charitable organisation that works across England and Northern Ireland, we have been able to support a small number of Young People within our Therapeutic Residential Homes to date, however there are many more Young People that require a secure, stable, and safe environment, but to achieve this we need to secure and or seek a long-term funding or investment partner that can support our growth & development.

With regards to any potential properties, Safe Places would need to be able to work with potential partners to obtain Planning Permission and obtain Registration with the relevant Regulator that will be dependant on the Areas Legislation and Standards. In regards to potential properties we need these to have basic specifications that will support our Therapeutic Model of Care, these specifications include;

  • Detached or Bungalow properties

  • Rural Location or Outskirts of Town / City Centres

  • Minimum 4 bedrooms

  • 2 Bathrooms OR 1 main bathroom (Used by YP) and 1 ensuit (Used by Staff)

  • Opened planned Kitchen and Dining Room

  • Utility Room

  • Communal Living Room Space

  • Front and or Back Garden

  • Parking Spaces (for a Minimum of two House Cars)

  • Garage or Alternative Storage Space

The investment or funding that, Safe Places are seeking from potential people, agencies or organisations would relate to securing properties that can be rented to Safe Places on a medium to long-term basis. Long-term rental properties that we are seeking need to meet certain standards and regulations, but that are also appropriate in size, structure, and location. With the right investment through either a Philanthropist, Landlord, Property Owner or a Social Investor, there will then be more opportunities to support Young People with complex emotional behaviour difficulties (EBD) in environments to where they can feel safe and secure.

Any potential Social Investor, Landlord, Property Owner or Philanthropist that can help with creating long-term stability for some of the most complex Young People within our Communities, would be greatly welcomed. If you feel that you are in position to help with our mission and support Safe Places strategy with regards to a Social Investment relationship or through a Philanthropist approach, please don’t hesitate to complete an Expression Of Interest. After the submission of the Expression of Interest, someone within Safe Places Leadership Team will be in contact. We look forward to hearing from people, agencies or organisations that can support the growth, the development & Safe Places long-term strategy that can provide more Young People in care with Individualized Therapeutic Residential Homes.
